Thank you for planning a perfect vacation.  Clay and I had a fabulous time.  The hotels were lovely, and we would recommend all three of them to anyone.  The guides were very professional and made the trip seamless.  The bike rides were really a highlight.  We were able to experience Mexico in a way that you could never do by car (and given that we did one 35 km ride and one 75km ride, we would have never have experienced by hiking).  We were able to stop in small villages and had lunch in one town that is clearly not visited by many foreigners.    Thanks again for all of your effort.

We had an amazing time in Croatia. It was so much fun.  The hotel in Dubrovnik was beautiful, and the one in Zagreb was spectacular (the others were very nice as well).  All of our drivers and guides were fabulous, but I personally think the young guy in Zagreb was my favorite. I could go on and on, but overall….just fantastic. Thank you so much.

June 2010—Italy

We are having a spectacular time. The hotels in both Venice and Florence are amazing. Everyone has been super nice. I wanted to mention to you that the guides in Florence and Siena, and the driver here in Florence were fantastic. SO incredibly knowledgeable and could not be any more pleasant or helpful.

Everyone here in Italy has gone out of their way to take good care of us. People always seem to make a point to complain when things go wrong, and fail to make mention when things are good- so, I want to be sure to tell you how happy we’ve been.

Dear Rea,

Norm and I want to thank you from the bottom of our hearts for creating the trip of a lifetime for us in South America! Ecuador/Galapagos, Peru, and Bolivia came alive for us in a thousand different ways because of your attention to detail, planning, and getting the best guides possible for each area.  We loved the hotels, locations were always perfect, and the staffs were more attentive than we could have possibly hoped for. The adventure experience was awesome and yet we always felt safe and well cared for. We celebrated our birthdays (my 60th!) and our 38th wedding anniversary on the trip and you remembered with surprises all along the way. There is no way we could ever thank you enough for the opportunity to experience South America in the amazing ways that we did through your special care and program.

Every guide was unique, knowledgeable, friendly, creative, and with wonderful  welcoming personalities always making our days full and unforgettable. You have opened the door to South America and we will definitely be wanting to return there for more.

We just can’t stop talking about this fabulous time of our lives.  Yeah for travel to Ecuador, Peru, and Bolivia!!

We want to assure you that EVERYTHING you organized for us, from leaving you in Buenos Aires through to Santiago and Easter Island worked like clockwork. We were always met, every reservation was as advertised, and the Tour companies first class. Easter Island was wonderful – quite the introduction to the history and intrigue of their lost culture. The hotels you selected were the best. All this without saying how much we enjoyed our two weeks through Patagonia.

Thanks for planning such a fabulous adventure. Soon I realized that this wasn’t a vacation, but a wonderful adventure in Argentina and things happen when they happen. The accommodations were superb – as Joe said; ‘How does she find these places?’

I can walk for miles but I wouldn’t normally go on a seven hour horseback ride in the mountains. It inspired me to feel that I could do things that I would have previously declined. The trip was thoroughly enjoyable but It would have simplified things to have the tips included. Thanks again and a very happy Thanksgiving to you, too.

They all knew we were honeymooning, so we had room upgrades, Welcome notes with fruit and Champagne and your sweet note with a wonderful bottle of Malbec at the Las Cascadas in Bariloche (we took that one home. We are saving it for a special moment)

Thank you for your help. Although I always have arranged our trips you were right that we needed expert advice… it made all the difference! It was best to do Puerto Marin first, it was important to have guides and drivers pre-arranged, as getting around on our own would have been difficult. One airport was at a pretty isolated place without taxis in site. Several people we met had tried to arrange things locally, but responses had been slow or non-existent. Ushuaia was wonderful and the guide was the best there.
